Thousands of Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza. The lives of hundreds of Cuban children are in danger as a result of the intensification of the U.S. blockade against Cuba. U.S. lawmakers and United Nations experts have warned of the risk of turning Cuba into a “silent Gaza” if the blockade is not lifted.

While one of the greatest impacts of the blockade is on the health of Cuban people, which mainly means a lack of medicines and medical supplies, Cuba continues to train doctors to serve their communities.
