The Role of Women in the Revolution

Past and Present

April 2-11, 2026

About the Delegation

Do you want to learn more about the role of women in the Cuban revolution?  Would you like to meet with women-led cooperatives and collectives that organize projects to strengthen and sustain their communities?

Learn directly from the Cuban model of collective well-being, cooperative practices, and shared opportunities in the midst of the ongoing U.S. Blockade against the Cubans.  We will examine how Cubans have challenged colonialism, capitalism, and imperialism within its revolutionary history and we will focus specifically on women and their role not only in the revolution but today in Cuba.

Join us in this journey and experience the revolutionary spirit of the Cuban people in creating their own futures.

Delegation Fee: $2400

The delegation fee covers all in-country expenses (lodging, travel, meals, interpretation, etc.) along with pre-travel resources, reading lists, and support. The delegation fee also covers our international team’s expenses for delegation preparation and coordination. Any amount paid over the delegation fee will go to support delegation scholarship and sliding scales, helping to ensure the delegations are more accessible to everyone. A delegation payment of $2400 or more is ideal to cover all of your expenses and the broader delegation needs-- please pay this amount if you have institutional support or other financial resources.

¿Y cómo está mi gente?

My name is Kenia Asuncion. These are a couple of things I am passionate about… I love love love The Bronx! Born and raised there and it holds a special place in my heart. I’m from a Dominican household therefore I consider being bilingual a blessing. It is a tool that comes in handy! Back home I am involved with the youth, planting seeds of solidarity and self pride in their hearts and  minds.Revolutionary Cuba changed my outlook on life. Organizing more awareness about the murderous blockade is a priority. I enjoy music and connecting with people who want a better world for our children.
