About the Delegation/Sobre esta delegación
This delegation offers the opportunity to learn about collective agroecology practices alongside Cuban communities that have organized together to produce food for their people. Grounded in food sovereignty and traditional agroecology knowledge, these efforts reflect community-led approaches to sustainability, resilience and shared responsibility for the land and one another.

Esta delegación ofrece la oportunidad de aprender sobre prácticas agroecológicas colectivas junto a comunidades cubanas que se han organizado para producir alimentos para su gente. Basados en la soberanía alimentaria y los conocimientos tradicionales de agroecología, estos esfuerzos reflejan enfoques comunitarios hacia la sostenibilidad, la resiliencia y la responsabilidad compartida por la tierra y por los demás.

Ground cost/Costos: $1,800 + $100 visa fee + airfare

What places will you visit?
​
Havana
You will arrive to Havana where you will have an introduction to life and history of Cuba. You will visit some agroecological farm there and you will learn more about how agroecology became an option for Cuban people in front of the Blockade

Cumanayagua
After the introduction in Havana, you will depart for the province of Cienfuegos, where you will spend two days in Cumanayagua at one of the agroecological farms that are part of the CMLK network.
