About the Delegation/Sobre esta delegación
Cuba has a rich history of Arts and emancipatory action that has inspired the world. This delegation offers the opportunity to learn intensively how to educate ourselves through arts from an emancipatory perspective and to take away concrete methodological proposals to work on in our communities and organizations. Join us as we explore the heart of Cuba through the perspective of Poetry, Dance, Music, and other contemporary art practices.

Cuba cuenta con una rica historia de artes y acción emancipadora que ha inspirado al mundo. Esta delegación ofrece la oportunidad de aprender de manera intensiva cómo educarnos a través de las artes desde una perspectiva emancipadora y de llevarnos propuestas metodológicas concretas para trabajar en nuestras comunidades y organizaciones. Acompáñanos a encontrarnos con Cuba a través de la poesía, la danza, la música y otras prácticas artísticas contemporáneas.
Ground cost/Costos: $1,800 + $55 visa fee + airfare

What places will you visit?
Havana
You will arrive to Havana where you will have an introduction to life and history of Cuba. You will meet some artists (musicians, craftspeople, painters) and have your first experiences with Cuban arts.
Trinidad
After the introduction in Havana, you will depart for Trinidad, where you will spend 1 or 2 days at the city and you will meet some artists who are creating music and writing poetry.
